The Egyptian Šnb is among the most fascinating trumpets that Ragnar encounters on his journeys through the ancient world. Two of these trumpets, arguably the oldest existing examples of lip-blown instruments fashioned from metal (ca. 1300 BCE), were discovered in the tomb of the Pharaoh Tutankhamun and have been the subject of ongoing study for many decades.
